OCTOBER 19, 2009 - PHILLIES v. DODGERS
Standing outside of a very cold CBP, October 2009 at the NLCS, wearing a 2008 World Series Ring that belongs to my good friend Bruce, a 20 year employee of the Phils. Phils win 11-0!

Who should have been Januarys Graph of the Month?

As a Philly fan, where is your sports focus?

11/12/08

Weds, November 12

Nice day....
Joe Savery
Quintin Barry
Lou Marson.... all 3 being great prospects in the Phils system.

JD Smith... former Eagle and one of maybe 10 I am missing from the 1960 Eagles Championship team (this one came from a card show mail in)

And finally, troubled former Flyer, Billy Tibbetts who replaced my cic's with 2 Penguins signed cards which was very nice. Unfourtunatley this is what Wikipedia had to say about his troubles, hopefully things work out for him:
"Tibbetts is notable for having served three years in jail from 1996 to 1999 after being convicted of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and a probation violation. On the morning of August 13, 2007 at approximately 12:30 AM EDT, Tibbetts was arrested after leading Massachusetts State Police trooper Mark Concannon on a high-speed chase on Route 3 South from Scituate, MA to Abington, MA. According to Officer Concannon's report, Tibbetts was being pulled over for speeding and failed to pull over. Tibbetts would lead police on a chase from Route 3 South to Route 18 South (South Weymouth). From there, he would continue to 58 South (Abington). At that point, Tibbetts would attempt a right hand turn on 58 South. but lost control and eventually crashed his 2007 BMW X5[3] into a fence and a telephone pole, and fled the scene on foot. A South Shore resident would later spot Tibbetts in their backyard hiding from police. Tibbetts would eventually be arrested behind a set of homes on Washington and Adams street[4]. On August 13th, 2007, Tibbetts would be arraigned for speeding, resisting arrest, failure to stop for a police officer, and leaving the scene of an accident after causing property damage[5]."
