Trillo Update!

As you know, I have a 1980's photo signed by Mike Schmidt, Pete Rose, Ruben Amaro Sr., Larry Christenson, Keith Moreland, Larry Bowa, Dallas Green and Garry Maddox. It is a beautiful piece. The only guy I am missing is Manny Trillo. I have not seen Manny do any private signing but I recently spoke with a board member of sportsgrahping.com, who said he may be working on one. I have had 100% success with Trillo in the past for cards, cic's etc. But I need him on this photo. Looking back, I should have sent to him earlier but whatever.

Anyway, I found he is a "baserunning coordinator" for the Whitesox. About 3 weeks ago, I wrote a letter c/o ChiSox asking him if I sent a donation to Whitesox Charities, would he sign my photo. I explained to him what the photo is, how it is signed by everyone and how valuable it is to me. I told him that I'd be nervous sending it to him in regular mail and would do it priority with delivery confirmation etc., and didn't want it just mixed up with the rest of his mail. So at the bottom I asked 2 questions and made yes/no boxes. They were (1) if i sent would you sign it? he checked yes (2) Is there a different address I could send it to so it doesn't get lost - he didn't check either box for that question. The envelope came postmarked Orlando FL. I was unable to find a Whitesox minor league team in the Orlando area or an address for him there. He also sent me a signed card.

SO:
(1) do I send to Chicago priority with confirmation and hope they get it to him in Orlando?
(2) hope that the private signing work out?
(3) other suggestions?

I really don't want to lose this photo, really want to complete it and really don't know if this signing will ever take place.
